Established back in 1908, the colossal General Motors corporation originated by combining the talents of many of the true automotive parts pioneers. GM is the world's largest automotive manufacturer and also the world's largest parts supplier and purchaser. From Remy Electric, later to become Delco-Remy, to AC Spark Plug founded by the inventor of spark plugs himself - Albert Champion, our history in the parts business originates before GM rolled the first car off the production line.

From AC Spark Plug to AC Rochester, and from Remy Electric to Delco Remy, then from United Delco to ACDelco, our name may have changed but the story is the same: we are the world's leader in Automotive Parts, and we always have been.

One thing hasn't changed, the ACDelco brand is still the parts & service, premium performance, 'trustmark' for ALL-MAKES of vehicles, and ALL-LINES of replacement parts.
